About the ZDVO

The ZDVO’s top priority is care for Israel’s disabled war veterans, its victims of terror and all of their families. At its Beit Halochem centres in Israel, the disabled regain the dignity and quality of life that they so richly deserve.

Every time an Israeli soldier is injured the ZDVO is there with them on their road to recovery.

We at the ZDVO in Sydney pledge our continued support to assist them.

The Zahal Disabled Veterans Organisation (Beit Halochem) Sydney (ZDVO) is devoted to helping the more than 51,000 Israeli disabled war veterans and victims of terror.

Every time Israeli soldiers or victims of terror are wounded the ZDVO is there with them on their road to recovery, helping these young men and women come to terms with traumatic injuries, as well as the psychological trauma, that so many will face for the rest of their lives.

Without these heroes there would be no state of Israel. These young men and women have not chosen this path – they have been brought up with the survival of the State of Israel deep within their hearts.

Giving them the help they need is our top priority!

Your donations support ongoing programs and the purchase of much needed equipment for the ZDVO and its Beit Halochem centres to provide the specialised facilities, offering both physical and emotional support, to the disabled victims, soldiers and their families.

“It is our obligation to support Israel’s soldiers and its victims of terror in this 2nd war, because we can’t forget that the 1st war, in securing Israel’s borders and its sovereignty, is in fact a war fought for us all”. The late Yithak Rabin
